would you like some constructive critisism? .. well too bad your gettting it icon_razz.gif

Heero one: 5/10

It has the elements needed, simple. you did a great job cutting out Heero. the only things that bugs me is that the direction of the light sorce for the bevel on heero is different then on Heero.. the text is sort of plain

Duo one: 4/10

At first glance it looks pretty good, infact maybe even better then the heero one, but after a moment of loking at it I found a few things to make me change my mind.

the things that bugged me-
In the upper lefthand corner you can tell where you kinda messed up the cutting out of the gundam's weapon..
Duo's left elbow is kinda funky..
the background is too clear, in contrast of the image..

other then that though, its not horrid

Quatre: 6/10

This one I like ^.^ really all i'm going to say about this one is that Quatre's image qual isn't very good.. but you did a nice job on cutting him out

Trowa: 6/10

yet another good one..
the blue isn't good though.. :/ around trowa.. dont worry too much though, cutting around trowas hair is a pain..

and last but not least, Wufei: 6.5/10

very nicely done.. i dont really have any comments

all together: they are above average people's work ^^;; dont let my numbers make you feel bad.. i'm kinda tough when it comes to this kind of thing..

tips: Try different layer styles icon_smile2.gif and dont feel afraid to make alot of layers.. take your sweet time and just mess around.. and try out the blur tool and the gaus. blur filter.. icon21.gif

i hear ya cam . thing was.. by the time i got em to what they look like now..
1. i had been staring at the shitty moniter too long
2. i had been on the good computer too long
3. it was laaaate n sleep became a necessity
4. i was gettin pissed at tweekin all the shitty images i used to begin with sweatdrop2.gif

some of the pics that i used i chose cuz they were some of my fav character pics n whatnot, but the size n quality wasnt so hot. so i screw with em till i said 'ehhh screw it good enuff sweatdrop2.gif '
not only that, but whenever i get on the good computer w/ photoshop and MY moniter, sledge hovers. i hate that sweatdrop2.gif
i got a mother load of other graphics to make so for now they'll just have ta hang out as is. i still have the psd files somewhere so at a later time i might go thru n do some more fartin around with em

*LOL*....i know the feeling Lady...*G*....here's a hint for cutting people out of pictures.....if you use layers, make a mask of that person in the original picture, then copy and paste as new layer in another image.....then, select the outside of that person and feather the selection about 2 or 3, then hit delete a couple of times....it makes them blend into the background much better...

and if you're going to blur, blurring works best when the person layer is merged with the background layer....that way, you don't get an outline blur around the person....unless that's what you want....*G*....
End of Topic.
