Wow! I actually recognized all four of those.
(Only knew the 'in' sound right now cause I've got ninjin on my fridge whiteboard in an attempt to educate my room mates who don't seem to realize there are languages other than Romance....)
*sigh* Now if I could just take an actual CLASS...but noooooooo...largest university in the south, and they only offer Japanese I during FALL semester...
I'm a Ling, but I've already got too much stuff in my siggy to have ANOTHER banner there. And I'm not losing my Saionji-sama

Ohh as for the Kata... basically... I got some help from Zanza, despite the fact he gave me the wrong sylable... but for the most part I figured it out 
Lings = Ri-n-gu-su
There is no LI sound so you have to say it like the Japanese and they say Ri instead of Li. The 'N' sound is self explanatory. Then GU for the 'G' sound, and then SU for the 'S' sound. Then you go look on your chart or Key map and plug and go. Put them together, and BOOM! you got yourself Lings (Ringusu) in Katakana....

How'd you get the Katakana itself on the banner? Is that some special option with Photoshop?

Katakana is really easy to learn... I had it down in two days.
Anyway, I happen to have a katakana font that he used. I have... uhhh... 12 katakana fonts of different styles ^_^;; I need better things to do in my spare time.

You are so mean Zanza.... Motsu is from the group Move (Look at banner... multi-colored/blue haired one ^_^) And he yells Boogy in one of those songs all the time... I forgot which ones, I'm so caught up on how weird this 'meet my friends' Mix of Word's of the Mind is. And Zanza doesn't like 'happy' songs... he'd rather listen to depressing Hide songs then upbeat Laruku songs...
Anyway, I'll be nice to ya Max.... click on this: http://www.anime-edge.net/fonts.zip and download them.... there are a bunch of them.. Kanji A-J or whatever, Katakana, Hiragana, and Kana.... Enjoy

You are right, Move isn't supposed to be. But to distinguish between the word 'move' and the group Move, I put the group in capitalizations. And not have Hide in caps is just 'cool', at least that's what Zanza told me.... I also do the same for him to distinguish between 'hide' the word, and Hide the man...
