Episode 1 : The Birth of Commrad Dobrinsky
A party meting was held in odessa, like every week, and all te district representitives were there : Commrad Gorbachev, Commrad Lenitovich, Commrad Andropov, Commrad Dobrinsky and, of course, myself, Commrad Djougachivili.
Everything went as it always did : Commrads Gorbachev and Andropov were at each others throaths. Commrad Lenintovich was being a brown noser to the chairman. Commrad Dobrinsky sat in his seat ignoring both Gorbachev and Andropov.. I simply tried to make order and eventualy, near the end get them to settle down so we can try and get some work done, but by this time the chairman had already called for final questions and was about to adjourn the meting like always.....
But this time Commrad Dobrinsky stood up. “Commrad chairman I have a few questions. If Russia has the best agriculture in the world, where is all our bread ? If we Russians are the best cattle herders, where is all our meat ? If Russia has the best industrial program in the world, where are all our automobiles ?” The chairman looked at his notes and replied “I do not have the answers for you this week Commrad Dobrinksy but I promise them to for next weeks meeting. If there is nothing else then the meting is adjourned .” and he slammed his gavel.
We all went home and the week was uneventful except for Boris complaining about the grosser’s fish smelling and the resulting scuffle...... But you probably don’t want to hear about that.
The meting came and like always the chairman asked if there was any old business, any new business. At this point I stood up and asked Commrad chairman, where is Commrad Dobrinsky ?” The chaiman looked at his notes and replied “Commrad Dobrinsky is no longer with us.” I was shocked to here that you are eliminated for asking a few harmless questions........ But that is not the case if you are here. “
Commrad Djougachivili was sitting at a table. Across from him sat another man, dressed in a good suit. A photo of Stalin hanged on the wall behind him. The mystery man finished taking notes and looked up to Djougachivili and said “We thank you for your cooperation Commrad Djougachivili, you may return to your family. Your statement was more than helpfull.”
