When I got my FF Anthology it had 4 and 5 on it. I went to look for a walkthrough for it and it was for 5 and 6. I'm a bit confused by this. Does anyone know why.

they released FF1 & FF2 in the states, but they skipped 3, 4 and 5. so when they released FF6, they decided to release that one in the states as well. but they decided that because it was the third Final Fantasy released here, they renamed it from FF6 to FF3. all the FF anthology and collections represent the actual game numbers.

Hmm.

Anthology is supposed to have five and six, while Chronicles has four and Chrono Trigger.

Are you sure your game has four and not six?

I would die for a copy of Chrono Trigger! It is defenetly 4 it has IV on it. On the back of the case it says that it is 4 and 5. I would also die for a copy of 6!

FF & FF2:
Final Fantasy: Origins (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/233113.asp)

FFIV & Chrono Trigger:
Final Fantasy Chronicles (http://www.gamespot.com/ps/rpg/finalfantasychronicles/)

FFV & FFVI:
Final Fantasy Anthology (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/168402.asp)

And everyone knows FFVII through FFX-2, FFXI and the new FFXII coming out later this year (or next?)

which leaves us wondering.. where the heck is FFIII? and if i remember right, it was never released in english or to any other country for that matter. :\ unless it was Mystic Quest. O_o;

and apparantly, the australia anthology collection has a different set of games *shrugs* might have been a licensing issue.

I was searching around on google and it looks like other countries never got Chrono Trigger of FF Tactics either.. how odd. O_o;

I think FF6 and Chrono Trigger were released together here. I hope so. Two of my most wanted game in the same cover! i saw it in a magazine. I can't find the magazine at the moment. I will check when I find it. I know we have Origins. I would get it but there is no point as someone super glued my GBA SP shut. We didn't get tactics but we got tactics advance.

*contimplates re-adding the chrono trigger theme*

If I can't find it I will have to get the 'evil' rom. Only because I want the game so badly though.

He means the Japanese FFIII.

It's yet to be released here in America--it's the only one that we haven't received in some form. I think you can play the Japanese version, or maybe some fan-translated ones, on ROM.

You can get any game on a rom. It will be there but no idea which game it will be.

1 and 2 are different then 4 and 5. I have a copy of 4 and 5 and a copy of 1 and 2. They are diferent games. I'm not sure about 3 and 6. Where I am 6 is called 6 and 3 is called 3.
