what are your thoughts on the new Zelda game? and have you heard anything new about it over the past couple months?

after seeing these screenshots i am extremely pleased we bought a gamecube. :D

I'm so-so-so excited about this game. Have been for a good number of months.

I just hope they don't put all their efforts into the graphics and leave the gameplay 'till the last minute...=\

as long as it is more like OoT was ill be happy...wind waker was too kiddy like and Majoras mask was jsut a bloody failure altogether...

majora's mask was horrible, so limited too. and as big as the world in wind waker was, you could take all the islands, smush them all together and they'd take up one block of that entire map. and that really irritated me. the free range of OoT was the best. and it looks like this new zelda game is going to go back to the classic land exploration (horse assisted too). :D i had more enjoyment launching arrows off epona's back than shooting bombs out of my talking boat.

yea I was big on the horse too. I liked majoras.. Oot was the best one though. Did anyone play 4 swords adventures? That game was fun but tooo easy. Yea I'm gonna end up beatin this one at my friends

i want 4 swords for GB Advance just because it has the classic super nes, link to the past with it. now that game was excellent, the world was not only huge, but was doubled halfway thru the game.

You can watch the trailer at IGN. I think its going to be awesome. They gameplay looks like its already there, and the graphics are stunning. This could be the zelda everyone has been waiting for.

I seem to remember the last time we were promissed really amazing graphics from a Zelda game. Then we got that crappy/fruity Wind Waker game. I'll brelieve it when I see it.

They showed scenes from this Zelda prior to Wind Waker's development and release...people were expecting this one to be next, and were pretty disappointed, as I remember...

pfft, that was just a picture, it wasnt no where near completion. This game was 3/4s of the way done before they revealed it. :p

i remember those pictures. the couple i remember seeing of link vs. ganon are very similar to the ones they recently released. its been years since then. i can't remember what magazine i saw them in tho, i think it was nintendo power.

I'm excited about this game. Long time Zelda fan :D
