mines Gundam Wing

Gundam Wing. It's practically one of the only gundam series I wanted to see entirely. I watched g gundam anyway cuz i missed watching the gundams, but i didn't find it to my liking.

If you can't tell my favorite Gundam series is Zeta Gundam but out of the ones you mentioned I will go with The 8th MS Team.

I loved 08th MS team because it was so beautiful I couldn't handle it. But it just can't compare with Wing.

It's the sequal to the original Mobile suit Gundam (which is my favorite)

Victory gundam is better than Zeta in UC

what the heck is Victory gundam? never heard of that one, is that one in english yet?

Its the best $180 I ever spent on an anime so I suggest you get it. Rumor has it that they're gonna show it on AS sometime this year but we'll see. Zeta is really dark and depressing so I don't know how that will go.

Victory Gundam is the last series in the UC timeline. Its not out in english yet and can only be gotten thru Fansub groups. I myself have yet to see it but its supposed to be just about as good as Zeta Gundam and maybe just a tad bit darker. I'll be downloading this one sometime soon (whenever I can find a good torrent for it).

Victory was the smartest built gundam ever

I've only ever seen 3 (and none of whice I have watched completly): Wing, SD and Seed. And Wing is by far the best.

I've seen Wing, Seed,SD, 0080, and 08th MS Team. I didn't care at all for SD.

Sd, well, it was a bit too childish for me. It was good, but not good enough. G, I don't think so. It just wasn't what I thought a Gundam series would ever be like (as from the results so far, I can't blame myself). Seed, I haven't seen fully, so no comment on the subject. 0080, I didn't particularly care for ever since the 1st episode. 0083, I only saw one episode and never seen another, so I can't really vote for it. Mobile Suit, that was a good one. It would've had my vote if Wing wasn't on the listings. 8th MS team was a good one too, but I never got to sit down and watch the whole seires, so I can't judge on it. So, my vote went to my fave of the two I've seen comletely, and I just liked Wing better.

Take time to watch some, Like "V" i vouch for it.

I wish, but with a family with 2 parents and 3 brothers, it's hard to make enough money to buy the dvds.

GW was the best. The charactors had a depth that was lacking in the other series, not to mention the spectacular twists and turns that could happen to them in a single moment(like when Heero saves Relena from the rubble, and then turns to destroy the assaulting Leo, screaming"WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!")
The battles were a bit too short, and one sided for the most part. G-Gundam had the best battles, because it was the pilot doing the work, the Gundams were just an extention of the self. But for the plot and the charactors GW all the way!

The Main reason i like Victory Gundam is because not of the pilot. In my opinion Uso sucks as a pilot he is a rambuctious child the only thing he has going is his newtype ability. Now the Gundam itself was a work of art they designed it to make sure it survived the battles. It had a core fighter mode for flight once v get blown up . A top fighter with core fighter if the bottom half get blown up. A bottom fighter with Core just in case the top gets blown up. That suit looks like it was design with teh pilot's safety in mind rahter than gundam power. The coolest thing about it is you can detache any part during battle even if the gundam is fine. Uso kept on throeing the bottom half at opponents when he is losing. X'D

For some reason that sounds exactly like what the original RX-78-2 Gundam could do. Not to that extent (couldn't exactly still use it without its legs or its top half) but it sounds familiar.

So they resurrected the core block system for V Gundam. Interesting. You'd think they'd stick with the ejectable cockpit system from Char's Counterattack. Ohwell I'm sure everything is explained in the series (which I still need to find a good torrent too).

I think the reason it was resurrected was because of its easiness (creation wise). The "V" Gundam was a mass producable gundam which i think defeats the whole point of Gundamism. Although it did help their fight with the Zancre empire they. I'm telling you guys that was the smartes Gundam series they didn't make one Gundam to fight the whole Empire. They made an army of gundams the "V" gundams and the made different varaitions they made new ones for the officers. Such as the V-dash, "V" gundam Hexa, "V" dash gundam hexa only the v-dash Uso piloted from the officer gundams. They did make Variations for Uso as well. "V-2", "V-2 buster", "V-2 assault", "V-2 buster assault". Were all made for Uso at the point he got the Buster assault i actually liked Uso better than :sulkoff:

Do you need to watch the first/oldest Gundam series inorder to fully understand what's going on ? Or some Gundam's like Seed or Wing start off with a different situation and they take the story along from there ....
I watch Mobile Suit Gundam on tv and love it.

Every Gundam series has its on thing going on. But in the UC time line they are somewhat related to each other by event timing. Like V gundam takes place 60 after the original that the only tie they have. but seed and Wing and G have their own time line like Ac or Neo future.

For the UC timeline it is highly suggested that you see all the Gundams in order starting from MSG and moving your way to V Gundam. This way you have a very good understanding of what is going on in the timeline and you know the history of what led to the conflicts seen in each series.

As for the AU series you do not have to watch them in any order since they have nothing to do with each other or the UC universe. Though it has been speculated that you can set every single Gundam series into one timeline but the "Turn-A" theory is not widely accepted among most Gundam fans.
