I would have thought that someone made a post about this, but I didn't see any.

Anyway, Adult Swim is showing the InuYasha movie: Affections touching across time. It starts at 11:00 here (thats about 2hrs. 10 min. away).

Just a heads up.

Sadly enough I actually planned my night around watching it (hehe you can tell I'm an anime fan) even if I'm not the biggest InuYasha fan. Should prove interesting to see.

it looks squished o.0

its a damn shame what they did to this movie. the animation and sound quality is supurb on the dvd. all of the inuyasha movies were made in widescreen format, but for some damn reason they decided to not air it in widescreen or reformat it for standard television format.. instead they squished the entire movie vertically and screwed with its brightness and contrast. -_-;

after watching this, please check out the wind scar gallery for this movie. you'll see the quality difference. i love this movie and i'm glad they're airing it but its portraying the movie as a lower quality production. :\

I notice no real lack in quality between the screen caps and whats being shown on AS. Then again I am watching it on a 52" screen tv so that could be why but it looks quite fine to me. On a side note I must say it is a very good movie, these damn commercials are starting to piss me off.

i want your tv. ;) i really like the movie also. i can't wait until they show movie 2. :D

when kagome was being controlled and shot inuyasha with the arrow.. the way she screamed for him and shouted his name. so much emotion! i loved it. :happy: what was your favorite scene?

Strider Hiryu
May 22nd, 2005, 11:59 AM
You'll have to talk to my father about the TV, it's his precious little baby.

That has to be my favorite scene also besides the scene between the two using to tree to talk to each other across time. Was quite heart warming if you ask me.

Did their faces look a little slimmer or was just the sqishing that did it? I also like the talking across time with the tree also. :)

When in the story does the third movie take place? basically i havent seen any of the movies and I want to know is it o.k to see the third one before i see any of the others.Do they go in order?

Edit: Well i just watched the forth one and it did not contain any confusing information so nevermind this.

Sledgstone

the first movie takes place after the battle with Ryuukotsusei, the second takes place sometime later.. the third movie, probably after season 4. and movie 4 takes place after season 6. but yeah, all the movies can be watched in any order.
