Here's a very nice poem I wrote about Sesshomaru. It turned out rather good considering I don't do much creative writing anymore. :happy:


Marks of the Demon Soul

As I walk against the light,
Through a world that's dark and cold,
My only friend is my strength, my might,
For measures of time so long and old.

My companion and servant, whose allegiance is mine,
He works to keep things in order,
But his words of wisdom are hardly divine,
For me, he's merely a corder.

An act of mercy brought you to me,
That of which I still can't grasp.
As suffering was once something to see,
Seeing you dead was the deepest rasp.

My sword of healing speaks to me,
It's words I've always ignored.
But now it knows the truth I see,
And with a swing, you are brought aboard.

Your aura shines deep, brighter, and long,
Like a shining candle in the dark.
How can a mere child be so strong?
What is the source of this divine spark?

Your happiness brings before my eyes,
The deepest pleasure I've felt,
But why when I turn to view the skies,
I think of you and my heartlessness melts?

I don't know what marks you've left on my soul,
Or if you'll bring me to my end,
But the truth is that I now feel whole,
With you by my side, my dearest Rin.

That turned out rather cute, in my opinion. :D No romantic connotations intended.

I know we're not supposed to double-post, but I'd like some opinions on my above entry. What does everyone think?

Hey, that was well written! You actually did a pretty good job. Usually when it comes to poems, I just skip past them. But I actually read this one all the way through :bigthumb:.

Not sure if I support that, but I wouldn't be suprised. Sesshomaru is OLD!!!! No telling what may happen with him and her when she gets older. But I didn't intend the poem to have romantice connotations.

Yup! With that in mind, WHO ELSE could he be with. I think when you're THAT old, age becomes a minor issue.

yeah, a couple of years isn't bad but even 15yrs is bad enough (trust me my mom dated someone that much older than her) but yeah
