I don't really know what it is about...I know that of course it's an anime...I know that it's about..an inner demon..cause that's what it says and I heard from a friend that it's about ninja's but I still don't know what it's about...the don't broadcast to much anime here...

u are really deprived if u have never seen inuyasha it kicks ass......
its about inuyasha[a half demon]who is put into a fifty year sleep by the priestess kikyo[accually they were in love but naroku tricked them]is awakened by kagome[a reincarnation of kikyo] who can go to the fudel[sp?] era through a magic well in her well house [only inuyasha and kagome can pass through this well]the shikon jewel[wich reappers through a cut in kagome's body]is shattered so inuyasha and kagome go to find it they meet shippo[a young fox demon]miroku[a womenising monk]and sango[a demon slayer] eventually inuyasha and kagome fall in love but inuyasha and kikyo still love each other[it gets really into this in the first movie]well i aint gonna tell u any more it comes on mon through wed on adult swim at 12:30 and saturdays at 1:00 so watch it it rules

Does "Inu" mean "Dog" in Japanese ? Just curious ;)

I have a labrador who's white and I imagined him to turn into a black-coated lab, the same time Inu Yasha would. It occured to me in a dream and it totally made me excited (for some reason) !

I think his name is something along the lines of 1/2 dog

It sure would *nods* .... which's why I kinda download the Japanese version with English subtitles ^_^, it gives me some idea about the language and the original voices for those characters. Doing the same for Naruto as well. Oops, I'm almost late !!! Inu Yasha's gonna be on air in 4 minutes (gotta still clear the dining table, lay the table, put the food on it before it starts !).

inuyasha means dog demon, sesshumaru means ditroyer of life, kagome means bamboo weaving pattern, Kerara (kelala) means mika, jaken means hell, shippo means seven jewels, miroku means butist god, and kikyou means some flower.
