i haven't watched inuyasha in over two months! i just saw the one last night, where kagome gets sick and inuyasha makes her feel better with liver and herbs.
but the next one is where sota wants inuyasha's help with love. so how far bind am i or are all these repeats?

Sota's Brave Confession is ep 90, I'm pretty sure they've shown up to ep 96.
re-runs of the 4th season that they've already shown.

I feel terrible! I haven't seen Inuyasha in like forever. I have GOT to start collecting the DVDs soon. Maybe I can find a cheap season set on eBay or something.

The last Inu episode I saw was 75 dub. So how do you think I feel about being behind? :-\

I think Inu sub sucks . I don't like the voices... but why is it that the sub's dialoge is always better? For example:

Inu DUB: hey, get back here!

Inu SUB: get back here so I can kill you, you sonuvabitch!

i dont like being behind *sniff sniff* or out of place what exactly are subs?

Miyu, anime comes in three types: raw, sub, and dub. Raw is in Japanese without subtitles. Sub is in Japanese WITH English subtitles. Dub is with English dialogue.

Crimson, the Japanese are FAR more liberal than we are about censoring bad language. America is much more strict about adding bad language to anime, so they dub everything without it to placate the pig-headed censors.

Inu DUB: hey, get back here!

Inu SUB: get back here so I can kill you, you sonuvabitch!

the dub is extremely restricted to how much they can say along with the movements of the character's lips. sometimes they even add extra lines to the dubs just to make things fit or to express/translate the japanese dialoge properly.

in general, i like anime subs better.. as long as they are subbed good.. the details in the dialoge are always better and the emotion in the japanese voice actors is so much more dominant than most of the bland english Voice actors.

as for inuyasha tho, i think they did a pretty good job with the english voices.. kudos to them! ^_^

i dont know, i haven't heard yu yu hakusho. but i think the sub vertion of inuyasha is weird. inuyasha sounds like he should be in school or something. but that's what sucks with america, we get too used to our own languages and sounds that we're not used to others

I agree with Sledge, the English voices are pretty at-par-like with the Jap voices *thank god* ... but ofcourse, the latter's voice actors are more expressive, there's more emoting and there's some sort of chemistry, atleast you're given the impression of it.
