I was thinking about this the other day, and it surprised me so much, I began to get curious...

How many of you, (and of those that can answer yes, how many times/different people), have you talked to (on the phone, outside of the computer, etc), met, or whatever, that you originally only knew online?

I've talked to six or seven different people on the phone, but haven't met anyone (yet?).
So how often do y'all merge your online life and 'real' life?

Not a lot, but I have spoken to many of my online friends on the phone. I originally met my ex on the internet and we still keep in touch that way. I meet people all the time in my local area and eventually meet them in person.

Not alot, I have never met anyone here in real life. But what my freinds and I talk about on the internet is completly different from what we talk about at school and stuff. If that is what you mean on this topic because my head hurts from the humor thing Tanoro wrote. @_@

I have one friend online who keeps calling me while I'm at work and saying "I'm bored." So annoying.

I've got one online friend that I've chatted with on the phone and have met only once in person.

Other then that none of my other online friends have met me or talked to me over the phone.

I talk to Eppy on teamspeak when we play games :P does that count?

I still have eppy and sledge ass prints in the couch :p I talk to Dubie on the phone, that chick goes to some loud parties :meh: and presenly I'm tryin to talk cloudie into coming to see me this birthday ^_^;

I talked to one once known as Loc... and he tried to get me to do pot... but other than that... no. I'm jealous. I want to talk to and hang out with cool AC people. Tear.

Let's see, Danny(yes, sledge's brother), I met when I was living in Ohio for a month.

I've met two other people face to face, one of which lives in Grand Rapids and we hung out quite a few times and will probably continue to, the other and I talk all the time. I've talked with something around 8, Cammy being one.

And then one guy was an artist at a con I went to, we chatted there, but then I forgot about him. One day I get a random e-mail from an artist, that found me on a site I'm a member of. We chatted for a while and he showed me his art, the signature was familiar, so I asked if he had been to the con. He had, so I looked at the pic and it was the same guy. I told him and he flipped, it was pretty amusing. Anyway we are probably going to see each other again at the con.

hmm....well my one friend i talk to all the time and he lives across the country...umm, i have yet to meet him in person. ive talked to the "sockless one" on the phone asking him if he was wearing socks many times....uhhh....the other one that lives across the country i might meet at otakon this year...besides that....umm...not many, i talk to allie sometimes too

I've met one person from online. My mums friend was going to Bendigo to meet him and I went as well.

One person I met online I talk to every now and then. We might meet up sometime this summer, since he only lives a state away.

I'm still bitter at you (yes, bitter at) for not choosing the campus that's like twenty minutes away from my house... but noooo... you just HAD to go to the other one. :p

Over the years I've spoken to a lot of people who're into the music I listen to and now, also the anime part of it. I haven't personally met anyone yet though I'd love to *sigh*. I've seen people on their webcams and recent'y on a home video recording too (Slippers !!! How you doin' ?). *curses his computer configuration for not supporting Windows 2000, hence un-functional Skype*

Well i've talk to a few people from online but they always seem to have loud noises in the background. Also most of them dont even share my interest so i just stop calling. But i never met anyone yet.

i'm really not much of a phone talker....there's very very few people i can actually talk to on the phone for an extended time....doesnt' matter how good friends we are....i just can't seem to find things to talk about.....
