Im in high school, 10th grade to be exact. I dont feel that some of my teachers dont give enough home work but other give more than i can handle. Anyone else have this porblem? Most teachers are understandable about our feelings but some can be quite inconciderate but expect us to respect them no matter what they say...i hate it! school sux period but i wanna pass so i keep my mouth shut and do what im supposed to^_^;

I have the same problem. My honor teachers pile up HW because 'We have to keep up with the High School'. Then my P.E. and History teachers gives us one night of HW a week. lol I live for nights I can sleep five hours. Sadly, I'm already looking forward to the end of the year.

Geomtry was always interesting and the tougher the problems got, it got a bit thrilling, always. I'm not saying this because I've completed school by the way :p hehehe ....

I really don't have that problem. All my teachers give me fair amount of work for the individual class...It's just when they all give me projects at the same time that is a pain in the arse. Most classes are art classes...and so I get stuck with one oil painting and then one sculpture project, and then a pottery project. All consist of alot of time and they all give a fair amount of time..except when you have to do ALL of them at the same time...

Just wait until you get into college, and every professor assumes that their class is the only one you're taking.

It's lovely, lovely.

i have the chance to go to metrotech (oklaoma city college) next year but im not sure if i really want to go, then again it would give me alot of opportunities. My most difficult subject in school right now is geometry...its rly hard for me to get since it has triganometry...the funny thing is they teach geometry before they teach trig...well yea.

i agree but if thats his choice no one can stop him doing that, besides even if he doesnt go to college he doesnt have to get a low paying job...there are a few good paying jobs that dont require college

Aside from one of my classes I had a fairly easy time this first semester. It was a bit of a challenge to keep up with the sophomores in my Spanish class though, they were really good. I hope the next semester will go as well. :happy: :happy:

It's actually a lot of work running a McDonald's y0. It's a chain, so they have to worry about their local head office.

:crazy2: I just go to school basically to see friends and such and to get away from family. but Math is my worst topic. mostly because the teacher explains how to do something and tells us to do it over vacation and I try to do it but then I cant remember how. :bored:

Do what I do and procrastinate until the last possible minute .. I kid you not. This works particularly well on big tests and finals.. The real trick is knowing how much you have to cram, what you already know, and how long it'll take you to go over the other stuff quickly.

I think I work best when I'm in a 'Do-or-Die' situation. Oddly enough. Even though I'm sure it's not the best way to retain the information, I probably won't need to remember 15 exact dates of historical events.

I havent been on in two weeks because of our finals and the no child left behind testing. Im glad next semester is starting soon because i will have alot of classes that id prefer to have rather than what im having to make up right now, that and the home work might increase a litte so that is a bit of a downer, other than that im gonna enjoy it especially since my lunch will change to where i can hang out with my friends!

The only class I have ever had a problem with is english. I am good at homework, but my teacher is just so.. unothadox. She gives the strangest, most complicated hoemwork, and doesn't even tell us when it is due, or even that it has been assigned. She expects us to look at her website for our homework, but I don't have internet at my house. As a result, I have a grade of 14.9%.

btw, the no child left behind act is... EVIL!!! EVIL!!! If anyone else had passed this act I would hope they would die and BURN IN HELL!

that shouldn't be held against you.....is there a public library nearby where you can check your assignments?
