STORY - The story is presented in a very good manner. It first starts off with a bang and then mellows out to explain the story as the plot thickens. The whole feel to the anime doesn't complement the story, but it also doesn't need to. The plot is deep and every character has a good part in the grand design of things. The emotions of characters really come out and you will find that there aren't very many "unnecessary" things that happen in the story. Everything plays a role. Everyone is aiming for their own goal, and this brings an interesting mix into what happens. There is a lot of action, and a lot of gore. The only thing wrong with the story is that it leaves a cliffhanger ending that will soon be patched up after they dub the final 6 episodes that are currently released in Japan.

CHARACTER - The characters are really well done. They are what make the story, the characters. Most of the characters are taken from the bible and put into the story, shaping their actions of today. This anime shows how an artist uses already existing characters of religious belief, and shapes them into their own model for a story. You see demons and angels, and humans signifying demons and angels of biblical fame. The main character in this anime is the young teenager Setsuna who is the resurrection of the mighty angel known as Alexiel who was banished by god for rebelling against him.

ANIMATION - The animation in this anime is simply outstanding. It ranks up to some of the best anime movies like "Akira." The animation in this anime was done digitally so there are no small mistakes or glitches. Not much more to say about the animation.

MUSIC - The music is OK. You can't really notice anything too extravagant or well done here. The background complements the story, but again, you still don't witness or notice anything out of the ordinary. I give to huge complements to the score, but no insults either. I guess the story was too good to pay attention to the music, huh? It seems to be a blend of mellow music though, but not in a good way.

OVERALL - This is a great anime and can truly be called a classic. With its picture perfect animation and its in depth story anyone who likes anime should definitely check this out or Catholics who have started to lose their faith will get a taste of the true wrath of heaven.
