Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
Written by Gundam-Ranger-X

Platform: PC
Genre: RTS
Publisher: EA Games
Developer: Westwood Studios
Released: 11/2000

"We will bury them!"

Ahh good old Red Alert 2. This game rules on every level. It was well worth the wait. Even though the game did come out like 5 years ago or something. So I'm late writing a review. Sue me. ^_^;

Let's get started now.

Overall: Woot! Go Soviets! Kick that capitalist butt! Yep, that's right. The USSR is on the warpath again, only this time, there sights are aimed for the home of apple pie: America. And as the tanks say: "We will bury them!"

Sound: Impressive. Most impressive. I really like it. Westwood really captured the sound great. They went as far as introducing building crumbling sounds. I'm actualy anxious to see, or rather hear, what they bring in for Red Alert 3.

Graphics: A really big step up from the original Red Alert and even Tiberium Sun. Each time Westwood releases an RTS they out do themselves in this area. Despite the superior 3D effects seen in Generals, I actualy prefer RA2 graphicly. Mostly because I find the colors more anime-ish. That and the conscripts. n.n

Gameplay: Another improvement here from Tiberium sun. The game runs smoother and the unit qeue has been increased to 30.

Plot: I can't get enough of this game. All because the Soviet Union conquers the world!
