This is it. This is THE RPG. This is Final Fantasy 7. This is, I quote from the back of the box, "quite possibly the best game ever made."

Plot
10/10

The game starts off with a spiky blond haired character jumping off a train and being beckoned to follow a muscular man with a cut off shirt. Our character begins to run and follow, but two blue uniformed soldiers come around the corner and attack him. They are easily defeated, and our spiky haired hero catches up to the other man. The man says, "By the way, my name is Barret", and then tells our hero to follow him into the "Make Reactor", because they are going to blow it up. Things go on from here, but as we find out, a simple quest to take down an evil corporation who are sucking the planets energy with their reactors becomes much, much more.

Game play
9.5/10

You move from place to place in this game using a huge 3D plane called the world map. Each city/cave etc. is represented by its own little icon. You enter each place by walking into the icon. The battle system is also excellent. It used the Active Time Battle system, which allows for strategizing during a fight.

Graphics
9/10

While the character models are rather blocky, and they have black stumps for hands, they are still pretty cool. The game really shines, though, during its FMV movie sequences. Everything in these sequences look very realistic.

Replay value
10/10

You can play this game a thousand times and it never gets boring. There is simply so much to do, and there are also many, many fun mini games.

Overall
9.6/10

Simply an amazing game. I can't get enough of it. If you haven't already, buy it. Now.
