The world of Vumahsai is in great discord. Bloody battles and nasty people are commonplace... The need for heroes is great.

The four main kingdoms of Vumahshai are Jika, Yulam, Quizlam, and Irua. Each of which embrace greatly different beliefs and gods.

The Jikooms of Jika are in perfect tune with the lands. They don't rely on magic or technology, their only real passion is living off of the land and crafting the most beautiful of goods. They have no god, but every living creature is sacred to them.

The people of Jika excel in alchemy and training animals. The alchemists use the unused parts of animals and plants and create the best potions a person can get. The Hunters can train many wild animals, such as giant Frogs and Ravens. Excellent scouts and archers these hunters are-- only the people of Jika can go to the great training school of Jihaulm.

Yulam is quite possibly the most surreal place one can imagine. Everything is perfect.. Well, the landscape used to be perfect. But as the kingdom of the guardians fell, so did the magical aura over the land.

The people take great pride in their religion. The god Yoomali is a good god that smiles upon the righteous, granting them with Holy abilities. All yulams at the age of 4 go through a great trial to find their god, and then once the abilities have been granted to them, they must train them vigorously for years.

Yulams have been granted with healing powers and the power to vanquish all that is vile. -- They either train to be Priests or Monks. Both of which have similar abilities, but the priests focus on healing and monks focus on fighting the undead.

And .. some of the yulams fall into darkness and venture to Quizlam.

Land of the rejects, refuge for the sinful. Quizlam is most diverse. Anyone who do not fallow their land's beliefs are sent to Quizlam.. it is a wretched place. Undead Quizala are the natives of the wasteland..

The only thing that the Quizala believe is revenge. They'll use anything they can get their hands on to do so.. be it stolen technology or even a stick.

These brutish people are warriors of all types and the fallen yulams often become necromancers.

The kingdom of knowledge. Irua is full of schools that teach both technology and magic. The Irians are very proud of their kingdom, but not everyone is bright. It all depends how much one commits themselves to the schools. Irua has no national religion, but does not tolerate necromancy.

The professors of the arcane institute are jealous of the Yulam's healing powers, but have managed to learn how to use black magic most proficiently.

Irian people are either Mages, Gunners or Knights.

~~ Basic story:
Recently a secret force from within Quizlam calling themselves the "Fist Of Truth" has sent out many assassins to bring down the great nations..

These assassins are equipped with technology not even the great Irian professors know much about.. they are energy based and they can slice through castle walls..

But, they are mortal.. several have been killed, but unfortunately their weaponry is often destroyed before further investigation can be performed.

This is starting in relatively traditional RPG, but its going to head towards SciFantasy.

Name: Sunder the Ironfist

Home Kingdom: Irua

*Profession/Class: Knight

Weapon of choice: Hammers (2 handed, 1 handed) and Maces/sheild; uses a lance while mounted on a horse.

Signature move/skill: Blessed Armor: Increases armor toughness range, self.; Ground Shaking: Slams a two handed hammer into the ground and shakes things up. Stuns enemies, medium range.

Physical appearance: Full Armor. (ever play RYL? X'D) dark hair, dark eyes, 6'3" 220 lbs. Muscled.

Background: Born in an average familly. He studied only enough to be educated enough to know how to read, write and know what he's talking about. When he was 10 he started concentrating more on fighting then on academic acheavements. He wore full armor at an early age and did vigerous training such as running, climbing, jumping, riding, fighting, and even swimming.

Also included in his training was mounted combat, and combat arts.

Alright, I'll do my best. This is all pretty much off of the top of my head-- based on my experiences with mannny games.

Alchemists: Masters of item creation. They can take the spoils of battle and create healing potions, or destructive items. The healing potions are excellent for fast healing in battle, quicker than magic healing, but not as effective. The destructive items can vary from Explosion/Fire Bombs, to a Poison Cloud Bombs. They often prefer to use heavy two handed axes as their weapon. But it's really personal preference. (Limit of 2 item uses per turn-- please keep track of your items.) Starts with-- 3 minor healing potions and 3 firebombs. -- You are allowed to create 1 item per monster killed.

Hunters/Trainers: Hunters are skilled archers that use ankle snares to disable their prey. Hunters hunt the weak creatures and leave the strong to procreate. They also can be called Trainers because they often have a hunting partner.. An animal they have almost complete control over. There is a Symbiotic relationship between a hunter and it's pet. (Optional pet: Wolf, Giant Frog, Fox and Raven.-- Ankle snare requires a dice roll: Evens: Works, Odds: Fails)

Priest: Masters of healing, they have the strongest healing abilities of any class. They also have skills to make their allies stronger and better. They posses the skill to raise fallen friends, but they are limited to one resurrection per year, and can only raise people that have not began decaying. (please, if you're playing this class, remember there is such a thing as cast time-- no insta-heals, and keep in mind that you have limited magic source.. it can recharge, but you must rest.)

Monk: Martial artists that will most commonly use bare fists or knuckle type weapons. Fastest attack speed of any playable class. They have self healing spells and do extra damage to undead monsters. Pretty self-sufficient characters, but lack any ranged attack skill and don't have the best of defense. They can dodge fairly well, but when they get hit its usually not a good thing. (Cannot attack and heal oneself at the same time; However the Monk has an instant death skill against undeads. Works on a chance with Die 1-2: Works, 3-4: Major Damage 5-6: Misses)

Warrior: The warriors of Quizlam focus on the power of destruction. They use large two handed weapons and use a small range of curse spells on their enemies. Curses include: Weaken, Stun, Life-drain and Poison. When the warrior uses Life-drain spell they receive the lost life of their enemy. (Stun, Weaken and Poison require a dice roll, Evens: Works, Odds: Fails)

Beserker: Strangest class of all, The character enters a trance whenever they go into battle.. they can be very very strong, or very very weak. (This character will be doing most of its fighting using a die, 1: Does Nothing, 2: Medium attack, 3: Light attack 4: Heavy attack 5: Miss 6: Near Fatal Blow) These are just guidelines, you can direct your character a bit.. its not horribly random, but try to keep it interesting.

Necromancer: Lords of Death, They summon the dead to do their bidding. They also have the same similar curses as the warriors, they include Sleep, Poison and Life-Drain. (You are allowed to only have one summon creature at a time, your choices are: Skeletons (good attack strength), Zombies (good defense rate) or Beasts (well balanced) they are all helpful but all lack in life, so they will die relatively quick against a strong opponent.-- Sleep and Poison require a dice roll, Evens: Works, Odds: Fails)

Mage: The wise Magicians are all about attack spells. Nothing else.. they lack in defense, but make up with the fact that they can do the most raw damage of anyone. Several times more powerful than the average fighter, but they have casting time, and they can't move while casting. All spells are elemental. (Fire, Earth, Wind and Water)

Gunner: Powerful range attack! .. slow reload time, but they do their best to make their shots count. (Die time again, lol. 1-4: Hit 5 or 6: Miss) They have no instant kill moves, but they have skills to disarm their enemies. Weapon remove skill knocks the target's weapon away from them several feet (Evens: Works, Odds: Fails) Arm shot disables a person from fighting for the battle, (1: Works, 2-6: Fails) Foot shot disables a person to flee from the battle (1-4: Works, 5 or 6: Fails)

Knight: The famous class of noble fighters. Heavy armor, great defense. They have a good sense of battle. The skills they have depends on the weapons they use. Each also undergo a Defensive or Offensives training, the Attacker knights and the Defender knights have slightly differing skills. Attacker knights have the ability to raise the moral and attack power of their group, and Defenders can purposely take all of the damage for the party.

If you cant find a die, one will be provided for you:
Select 6 sided dice and 1 dice to roll. .. Hopefully we can all work on the honor system..

Honestly I'm not too sure about the whole dice idea, I just wanted to think of a fair way to keep things random. .. these skills arnt the only ones you can have. if you have any suggestions, like I said before, go ahead and talk to me about it. ..try to keep the classes pretty balanced though.

Don't mind me double posting in my own topic.. lol ^^' I just wanted to make sure that this didn't get lost somewhere in my other posts.

*Profession/Class: Hunter
Weapon of choice: Longbow/or Quickaction crossbow-- Dual Short-Swords when in close-combat. Pet: Raven named Sparks
Signature move/skill: Multistrafe: Draws back 8 arrows at once and unleashes them all at the same time upon any poor target. and Wind Walk: Enhanced stealth movement speed, can walk up behind enemy without being noticed.
Physical appearance: 5'10" Light build. Friendly face. Complete with brown medium length wavey hair and brown eyes. He wears unique light armor and shoes with feathers on the bottom to reduce noise.
Background: Youngest son of a large family. 7 other siblings, all of which have been sucessful in life. Lars spent most of his life working to support himself at the local INN.
.. Sick of the same routine everyday Lars decided to run away from his village looking for a better life. He had nearly nothing to take with him except his training and his companion Sparks.
After travelign for some time he ended up on a central island called Coonex. Out of cash, he took on a a part-time job at a fine tavern before he could continue on..

Weapon of choice: Claws, with steel knuckles under just incase they ar removed.

Signature move/skill: Initial Lotus: Shuts off two of the brains physical limiters, empowering him with more strength and speed by using more of the muscles true power, then follows it up with a high speed arial combo and drops his oppenent head first onto the ground and lands safely. very physically demending technique, will need to rest a day or two before the next battle.

Extreme Lotus: Shuts off 5 of the Brains physical Limiters giving the user inhuman strength and speed. Followed up by an extremely highspeed combo, should only be used if if someone very close to you, like a loved one needs to be saved, or maybe your village or own life. Extremely physically taxing. needs atleast two weeks too recover.

Final Lotus: All 8 Limiters have been released. Gives user physical power equal to that of a god. it is a matyr technique. only used if the existence of the kingdom, or even the world is in danger. the users life is the cost of this move.

Physical appearance:
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 130
Build: Athletic
Hair Color/stlye: Black with Blonde Bangs/Spikes and Bangs
Eyes: Black
Clothing:Black Sleaveless shirt, with white martial arts hand/arm wraps/bandages, and his hard knuckles and claws are at his waist unless in battle. he wears black shorts that go past his knees with foot/leg wraps on, and sandels unless in battle.

Background: he was born into a family a famous militant monks, his father a veteren and his granpa deseced in war, having used the Final Lotus to save his kindom from certin doom by and attack from Quizlam. since his family his grandfather had such an influence in the military, the temple of Yulam has favored his family for generations so he's lived pretty well off. his whole life was pretty much training under his father, with the occational gathering with friends from his acedemy of course. Due too his training he has been able to master Initial and Extreme Lotus, though he has only used both of them once when he had to save his sister from and undead attack on his village not long ago, he has recently recovered from using that attack and has been called upon by the holy counsel of the village to go to other nations and try to gain diplomacy from them to help band together to stop this menece.

profession/class: Necromancer

Weapon of choice: 2 long poisoned daggers, and a scythe that is made of pure death energy.

signature move/ skill: Regenarate (can use this upon himself and others, but only a very limited amount of times as it is extremely tiring to use many times in one day without rest), Death mist, Wail of the Banshee and Symbol of death. (can also cast an asortment of spells)

Physical appearance: Agarwaen's skin is very pale and has perfectly smooth skin other than that he is well built. He wears a black cloack and under it a dark red tunic. His eyes are blood red an he has no hair. Has long claw like fingernails and sharpened teeth.

Background: Agarwaen once lived as a Jikoom but never accepted their beleifs. He began getting into necromacy but kept this interest well hidden for many years. He ventured into the most ancient arts of death (were he got this information about necromancy, I can't say). He began a long dead ritual that would transform him into a Lich a vampire/zombie looking creature that can only be killed permanantly by destroying its phylactery (usually a jewl, don't know if I spelled phylactery correctly) which holds its life force or soul. After completing this ritual he was rejected from his home and nearly killed but escaped to Quizlam were he greatly increased his knowledge and powers in necromancy.

Weapon of choice: (2)Big Ass battle axe

Signature move/skill: Madness Slashes, only while raging muscle is active( 3x muscle inlargement but is slighty slower) slashes 10 heavy attacks and hurlss axes at the enemy

Physical appearance: very muscluar bulge mucsles but more on the not so smart size. when he is traveling he wheres a large cape very dark but in battle he has metal plating down to his knees in the fashion of a large knight. he is bald( when hes in the cloak he where light amror)

Background: Born raised and trained in quizlam no parents as he knows of was brought into a training camp as long as he could remeber. the only thing he knows is to kill.

The only place one could train to be a beserker is in Quizlam.. so unless you can come up with a good explanation how you could train in quizlam and be able to return without being destroyed you'll have to either change your location, or change your class.. or character all together.

*generally* everything from quizlam is not a good guy, but that doesn't mean you --have-- to be. The characters alignment is your choice.

besides that.. um, maybe a different physical appearance would be good.. or atleast describe it.

Alright, heres a battle~systemy guidlines:

You can talk before engaging an enemy in a post, but before you start attacking, make it clear that your post is a combat post. something like

Combat!, or Attack!, or something before you start so people know you're serious ^_^

Description of your attack(s)-- If its not a special move described in the class descriptions, and does not deal lethal damage or a status effect.
!-you do not need not need to use dice.-! but~ try to keep the story interesting and don't always let yourself hit.

If you're not sure, Please refer to the class descriptions: Here (

If it Is there, then fallow the dice rules provided. (If you're confused, you can ask me here or PM/AIM)

If you have a special move not listed there, but it: A) Does very heavy damage or B) Causes a status change. Please consult me before use.


Each player can perform up to 2 normal attacks, or 1 special move per combat post. With the exception of Monks, and Hunters, they can do 4 attacks because they are faster-but are still limited to 1 special. Monk and Hunter single attacks are slightly weaker than the other classes, so it kind of equals out.

1 Item may be used per post. -- Keep track of your own items please. I might check up with you if you use alot of items..

You cannot attack the same person again before they have a chance to post! -- And no double-posting.

There are no one-post kills on other players! monsters, and npc characters are fine. but I can't stress enough-- keep it interesting.

If anyone fails to fallow the rules, and decides to god-play and/or ruin my RP; you will be destroyed, in the most worst of ways. lol. I'll talk to Sledge about it.. I'm dead serious.

Anyways, if you guys have any questions, ask away.

A necromancer can cast regenarate! Which heals all wounds regrows any lost limbs and restores all health. Necromancers are supposed to be masters of life and death. Having the spellcasting abilities to take and return life or animate dead creatures.:D but if you don't like the healing thing I'll change it.

The only possible heal you could have is minor heals that only work on undead. -- Ethas is not undead.

wait.. barbarian isnt' even a class. lol. I confused barbarian with beserker.

so what is it, beserker or warrior? I'd recommend warrior since you dont have to use dice for your attacks, lol. except for the curses, but i doubt you'd use those too much..

*Profession/Class: Monk, I guess that's as close to ninja badass I can get :P

Weapon of choice: Scimitars (is very resourceful and can make a weapon out of almost anything though)

Signature move/skill: Chrono Flux: Bends time around him to use to his own advantage, can only use in limitted amounts, and is very taxing emotionally and psyche-ly. This can be used to create the illusion of warping around suddenly from area to area, or to dodge moves otherwise near impossible to dodge. This ability can be used in natural noncombat situations as well, such as for theft.

I-Siphon (I = Intellect): Reads the subconcious thoughts of ones mind. Can be used as an advantage in combat to predict moves. When more focused (e.g. not in combat or in special situations) he can read their thoughts to find hidden motives or just contemplations.

Hive Mind: Decription later, I only intend to have this ability much later in the story.

Small concealed weapons and accessories are kept around the forearm area inside of the clothes, as well as attached to the belts around the stomach.

Background: Trained in fighting since age 4, intellectual. Is working for Jika as a counterassassin, and has gained a reputation for being very succesful in nullifying threats. The origin of his time bending and otherwise psychic abilities are unknown, although they are rumored to be inherited through blood. A recluse in the community of Jika.
