Back when I first came to the Anceint Clan as a stupid wannabe emo kid who couldn't spell worth shit Yu Yu hakusho fandom was thriving thing both in and outside our little clan. However now YYh fandom has seemed to have completely died. I know YYh has ended but so many animes before it still had steady going fanbases long after they ended , yet every last big YYh site has gone and died leaving only a rotting carcass and my memories behind. The Maze Caste (most likley the biggest YYh fansite ever) even shut down and I believe the Rosewhip was down for a period of time.

I know probably just me Kuwabara and a few other members even care about the death of this series, but I still feel I should ask how many of you even care about poor YYh anymore?

Thank you for finally bringing this up.I definately am one of those few members who still cares. The YU YU HAKUSHO Board is the reason i joined this forum. Please people do us a favor and post in this Board.
I only have 90 posts becausei only post about YU YU HAKUSHO.I dont have a clue about GUNDAM,NARUTO,or INYUHASHA.Yu Yu Hakusho deserves more credit than it has been getting.and I couldnt spell YU YU HAKUSHO either, when I joined.

I agree, it's a good series, I'm not done watching it yet, but it's a very old anime, so I guess ppl kinda forgot about it.

NEVER. Things like this happen. Anime's popularity goes up as it airs and then people forget just set it aside... especially us outside of Japan.

When I joined this forum and others Gundam Wing was HUGE. and DBZ and Tenchi were really big also. then it was Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. Right now Naruto has the spotlight and one day it will be whatever is showing next.

That may be true, but DBZ and Cowboy Bebop are still extremely popular (hell, DBZ is probably the most over rated anime/manga series ever). I'm not really sure about GW,Trigun or Tenchi , but I'm pretty sure they still have a strong fanbase going. What I''m trying to say is that it pisses me off a bit that YYH has just been cast away like a piece of garbage while much less deserving anime series (coughdragoncoughballcoughzcough) are still being praised like a god.

They'll eventually re-air yu yu hakusho and put some good buzz on it. If anything, it might get a good chance again if the Funimation Channel ever takes off.
