i just picked this game up the other day at wal mart but haven't gotten a whole lot of me time to play it, i was wondering for those that have played it, whatdya think?

I liked FFII sort of. But I absolutly hated FFI it didn't even have the characters talk at all and basically I never knew where to go because I don't like to use guides. Overall I'd give it a 5/10. FFI sucked ass.

I got stuck after I beat the first 2, and somehow I got to the third and beat him. But I never knew where to go after the 3rd guardian. So, I sold the game at EB Games for $17.

is there any big difference between these games for gameboy and the final fantasy origins for PS1?

I think the only difference is that they have more mini-mini movies in it. In the Advance one, you can go into "special" caves so you can fight bosses from IIII,V and some others, after you beat the guardians. I'm pretty sure thats not in the original PS game.

The coolest part for FFI for me is when you meet Bahamut, "Dragon King", and he changes your people into stonger classes.

Maybe try to use a screwdriver as a crow bar to open it. Sure it may have glue all over it but, at least you can still play it.
