Guyver February 15th, 2005, 05:41 PM when you hear a song and it tears you apart
just curious to what that song is and why
not for sadistic purposes but i think we all have a song that pains us
mines LP/JZ numb/ encore
reminds me of the one i really loved
hearing it makes me frustraded
Godgrave February 16th, 2005, 03:49 AM Chris Isaak's Wicked Game ... GM's Careless Whisper ... there're a few more.
Kasumi-chan February 16th, 2005, 11:57 AM Anything by Britany Spears or Shanya Twain. :hugeevil: :hugeevil: My sister always listens to them and I'm about ready to smash every one of their cds. But, if I did that I may as well kiss my APC cds goodbye, and that would suck, so for now they're safe.
Akira13 February 16th, 2005, 04:17 PM Anything by Britany Spears or Shanya Twain. :hugeevil: :hugeevil: My sister always listens to them and I'm about ready to smash every one of their cds. But, if I did that I may as well kiss my APC cds goodbye, and that would suck, so for now they're safe.
I don't think Guyver meant painful in THAT way.
Hell_Cat_18 February 16th, 2005, 07:28 PM Simply put Ryan Cabrera's "True." I cry just about everytime I hear that song anymore...it's even worse when I wake up to it on my alarm. See...it's the I love's song to me, and I don't get to see him very much, so it's really hard when I hear it.
Azrael February 16th, 2005, 11:31 PM Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees. I don't know exactly why.
Princess Tasha February 17th, 2005, 04:14 AM Let's see...for me....the Righteous Brothers "Unchained Melody" (and I am sure none of you have even heard it...too old school)....plus Nickelback "Someday"...and btw, Godgrave...George Michael may have sung the song "Careless Whisper" but it's actually Wham! that put it out...
Godgrave February 17th, 2005, 05:01 AM Oh yeah, that's true
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Hell_Cat_18 February 17th, 2005, 10:27 AM Savage Garden's "I Knew I Loved You" that and I'm not sure who does it, or what the name of the song is but the chorus goes "This house is not a home, I think I'm better off alone..." that song has really been striking a cord with me lately...
boondock_saint February 17th, 2005, 01:06 PM there are a few songs that make me pretty close to shedding a tear and its funny because they both are country songs...
'don't take the girl' and 'whiskey lullaby'
Hell_Cat_18 February 18th, 2005, 11:55 AM Both of those songs make me want to cry...the latter more so...at least "Don't Take the Girl" had a happy ending, but "Whisky Lullaby" is such a tragic yet beautiful song...
Flying_Monkey February 19th, 2005, 05:11 PM I'd say for me it would be "Forgive Me" by Godsmack cause that song realy describes a time in my life when I just hated everything and was angery all the time.
Another would be "Vermilion Pt.2" by Slipknot cause one you never hear any soft songs from them and Cory's voice sounds like he is pained emotionaly and stuff that song just gets to me every time I hear it.
Caine February 19th, 2005, 05:54 PM Dir en Grey - Zakuro, & Aint Afraid to Die
Korin February 19th, 2005, 10:39 PM "Neely O'Hara" by Bright Eyes
in the morning
when you throw up water
and your skin turns a pale pale yellow
well everyday you lose more color
do you think that someone paints your mirror?
so you think that things sound different
at the time when you speak
well there are visions much clearer than these blurs that you see
and like neely o'hara you swallow your sleep
and wake up in the morning
to find you are not who you used to be
you don't recognize the behavior
or the spelling of your name and the shape that is in the mirror
well you'd swear it is not the same
and like neely o'hara
you swallow your sleep and you really can't remember
but you know you are not
think you are not
no you are not who you used to be
Godgrave February 20th, 2005, 01:14 AM Anathema - One Last Goodbye
How I needed you
How I grieve now you're gone
In my dreams I see you
I awake so alone
I know you didn't want to leave
Your heart yearned to stay
But the strength I always loved in you
Finally gave way
Somehow I knew you would leave me this way
Somehow I knew you could never stay
And in the early morning light
After a silent peaceful night
You took my heart away
And I grieve
In my dreams I can see you
I can tell you how I feel
In my dreams I can hold you
And it feels so real
I still feel the pain
I still feel your love
I still feel the pain
I still feel your love
Somehow I knew you could never, never stay
And somehow I knew you would leave me
And in the early morning light
After a peaceful night
You took my heart away
I wished, I wished you could have stayed
Stinkerbell February 20th, 2005, 03:22 AM For me it used to be "Coma White" by Marilyn Manson because it reminded me of a time when I had no one standing by me, friend or lover. I was so alone. It was only recently that I could listen to it again without feeling dead inside, like the past was closing in on me.
In fact, what whole album still messes with my head now and then, because that was my favorite CD then. Mechanical Animals.
The only song that makes me cry today is the song I walked down the aisle to, but I'm afraid to disclose that information
Flying_Monkey February 20th, 2005, 05:24 AM why are you afraid?
Sick of My Life by Godsmack is another song that pains me some, the lyrics really hit me hard and makes me think of some past times in my life that are not good at all.
Hell_Cat_18 February 20th, 2005, 03:42 PM I know this is going to sound cleche' but...Cold by Crossfade...it reminds me of the way I am, and how I tend to treat the people I love the most that way, even though I don't mean too. How I'm messed up on the inside, but I'm trying to make it better.
Toy Machine February 22nd, 2005, 03:24 PM Just love this one even though its so sad.
The Cure - "Out of This World"
When we look back at it all
As I know we will
You and me wide eyed
I wonder will we really remember
How it feels to be this alive
And I know we have to go
I realize
We only get to stay so long
Always have to go back to real lives
Where we belong
And we think back to all this
And I'm sure we will
Me and you
Here and now
But we forget the way
It really is
Why it feels like this
And how
And we always have to go
I realize
We always have to say goodbye
Always have to go back to real lives
The real lives are the reason why
We want to live another life
We want to feel another time
Another time
Another time...
To feel another time
When we look back at it all
As I know we will
You and me wide eyed
I wonder will we really remember
How it feels to be this alive
And I know we have to go
I realize
We always have to turn away
Always have to go back to real lives
But real lives
Are why we stay for another dream
Another day
For another world
Another way
For another way
One last time before its over
One last time before the end
One last time before its time to go... again
TheBlackSwordsman February 22nd, 2005, 07:57 PM Vast Touched
Atreyu Someones Standing On My Chest
Wolflord February 23rd, 2005, 11:00 PM Paranoid by Black Sabbath (That song gets to me... They bring up a point... I can't love)
Only god knows why by Kid Rock (It seems so sad considering who it's by.)
Hell_Cat_18 February 24th, 2005, 12:00 PM Someone by Earshot...I love that song, but at the same time, it's hard to listen too.
Flying_Monkey February 24th, 2005, 10:04 PM Recognize by Flaw cause it can't recognize myself sometime cause I let myself get so angery and explode with rage and when I calm down and realize what I just did I feel so lost and confused, I feel like crap especialy if I accidentaly hurt someone I care for which happens when my friends try to stop me (I just hate myself when I do that, I hate hurting my friends:( but I can't contorl my anger)
Miyu February 25th, 2005, 12:37 AM mockingbird by eminem tears my heart. when he discribes his daughter, haley. i feel like he's discribing me. "i can see you sad, even when you smileeven when you laugh, i can see it in your eyes deep inside you want to cry..."
Hell_Cat_18 February 25th, 2005, 11:15 AM His new hit, Little Toy Soldier, reminds me a lot of me, and the way I feel anymore. Like he says' "I'm the soldier who's never supposed to blow his composure" I get mad, and right now, I'm being forced to push it all down inside and it's getting ready to break me...
Stinkerbell February 27th, 2005, 02:51 AM The song "Passive" by A Perfect Circle reminds me of an ex-friend. He stopped talking to my husband and me because my husband left their band. And now he thinks of me like Yoko Ono.
He won't confront us about his anger, so the song kind of fits. And he's squandering his musical talents by remaining in the vacuum that is Seattle.
"I'm sure of your ability to become my perfect enemy
So, wake up and face me
Don't play dead 'cause maybe someday I will walk away and say,
'you dissapoint me, maybe you're better off this way'
Leaning over you here cold and catatonic
I catch a brief reflection of what you could and might have been
It's your right and your ability to become my perfect enemy . . .
Go ahead and play dead, I know that you can hear this
Go ahead and play dead, why can't you turn and face me?
You fuckin' disappoint me . . ."
boondock_saint February 27th, 2005, 10:13 AM I don't know what it is about this song...
DJ Sammy & Yanou Featuring Do
Yanou's Candlelight remix of Heaven
Baby, you're all that I want
When you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe
We're in heaven
We're in heaven
Oh, thinking about all our younger years
There was only you and me
We were young and wild and free
Now nothing can take you away from me
We've been down that road before
But that's over now
You keep me coming back for more
Baby, you're all that I want
When you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven
We're in heaven
Now nothing could change what you mean to me
Oh, there's a lot that I could say
But just hold me now
'Cause our love will light the way
Baby you're all that I want
When you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven
Heaven
Now our dreams are coming true
Through the good times and the bad
I'll be standing there by you
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven, oh
Oh
We're in heaven
Godgrave February 27th, 2005, 01:24 PM There're so many tracks off My Dying Bride that hit the nail right on this topic subject.
Princess Tasha February 27th, 2005, 01:29 PM I just heard one the other day (and it's quickly become a fav song of mine though sad)...Ace Of Base "Everytime it rains"
Hell_Cat_18 February 28th, 2005, 11:04 AM I think I understand about the whole Heaven song Boondock...don't worry...it'll be okay.
Anyway...anymore when I hear "I'm Already There" by Lonestar...I start crying...or at least I get pretty damn close. I heard it on the way to Joplin with my mom today, and I broke down bawling...she just stared at me and asked what my problem was...like I can tell her though... -_-;
Miyu February 28th, 2005, 07:38 PM who can tell their parents any thing these days?
Hell_Cat_18 March 1st, 2005, 12:02 AM Not me that's for sure...-_-;
Miyu March 1st, 2005, 01:28 AM me too. if my parents get mad and glare at me for my grades why should i tell them any thing if they're not going to do anything but glare and complain?
Hell_Cat_18 March 1st, 2005, 09:58 AM Dang...I need to just stop listening the radio...it's nothin but pure evil. If I hear that song Amazing one more time, I'm gonna freak. -_-;
Miyu March 1st, 2005, 06:48 PM any thing by Jojo is getting anoying
Hell_Cat_18 March 1st, 2005, 08:49 PM True by Ryan Cabrera got to me again today...
Crimson King March 4th, 2005, 10:50 PM Ohhhh I just heard this ANNOYING song on t.v. just now... and I remember it from Kill Bill. It's the 123456s or whatever. That "woo-woo woo-woo-woo."
Flying_Monkey March 5th, 2005, 03:02 AM Disturbed: Numb (as to not get it confused with Linkin Praks Numd here are the lyrics!)
Bleeding now i'm
Crying out i'm
Falling down and i'm
Feeling nothing like
Laughing now i'm
Stopping now i'm
Reaching out and i'm
Feeling nothing
Yeah, you have created a rift within me
Now there have been several complications
That have left me feeling nothing
I might say, you were wrong to take it from me
Left me feeling nothing
Crawling now i'm
Beaten down i'm
Tortured now and i'm
Feeling nothing like
Hunting now i'm
Stalking now i'm
Reaching out and i'm
Killing nothing
I can feel you ripping and teaching
Feeding and growing inside of me
I want this, more than you know
I need this, give it back to me
Crimson King March 5th, 2005, 06:40 AM That song wasn't the best song by Disturbed... but it wasn't the worst, either...
Hell_Cat_18 March 7th, 2005, 12:17 PM "Home" by Three Days Grace...
boondock_saint March 8th, 2005, 12:55 AM you know...amazing grace gets to me sometime, most of the time when its just instrumental...anyone here heard of victor wooten, like one of the best bass players in the world...he plays this awesome version of amazing grace with harmonics on the bass...i will have to host the video somewhere so you guys can watch it...
Hell_Cat_18 March 8th, 2005, 01:09 PM A song by Third Day called "My Everything" always makes me want to cry when I hear it anymore...I think because that's kinda my personal prayer to God right now.
boondock_saint March 11th, 2005, 01:06 AM One thing by Finger Eleven
Restless tonight
Cause I wasted the light
Between both these times
I drew a really thin line
It’s nothing I planned
And not that I can
But you should be mine
Across that line
If I traded it all
If I gave it all away for one thing
Just for one thing
If I sorted it out
If I knew all about this one thing
Wouldn’t that be something
I promise I might
Not walk on by
Maybe next time
But not this time
Even though I know
I don’t want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds
Hell_Cat_18 March 11th, 2005, 11:38 AM "Miss You" by Blink 182...not just because of my bf...but because of a lot of people. There's also a really old song called "Friends a Friend Forever" I don't remember who did it but it goes...
"And a friend's a friend forever, if the lord's the lord of them.
And a friend will not say never, cause the welcome will not end...
You know it's hard to let you go, but in the father's hands we know...
That a lifetime's not to long...to live as friends...
Flying_Monkey March 12th, 2005, 01:29 AM My Immortal by Evanescence but not the version played on the radio the version with just Amy Lee's voice and a piano.
Hell_Cat_18 March 12th, 2005, 08:31 PM Yes the one on the CD...not the jacked up radio version...
Flying_Monkey March 13th, 2005, 10:48 PM accually the radio version is the last song on the CD while the good version is #4 i do beleive
Running Blind by Godsmack is another good one
Hell_Cat_18 March 13th, 2005, 10:51 PM "Scars" by Papa Roach is a good one right now...or bad I guess lol
boondock_saint March 13th, 2005, 11:53 PM Tim McGraw
Don't take the girl...
Hell_Cat_18 March 14th, 2005, 10:18 AM "Nobodies Home" by Avril Lavinge...it reminds me of my friend *more like sister* Renee'...I think the song was made for her.

TheProphet March 14th, 2005, 09:35 PM I think the most painful song is.... Is this like emotional painful or is it like it makes your ears bleed painful?
Flying_Monkey March 15th, 2005, 01:57 AM As in makes you sad or something similar to that Magna
Any way Voices by Godsmack
Listen to the rain fallin' day by day
Listen to the rain fallin' day by day by day
Hey
I hear you calling, voices are here again
I hear you whisper, taking control of me
Watch the dancing shadows run away
All alone once again, afraid
All these faces, changing their shapes on me
I said laid it in my own world, will it ever be free?
Haunted figures around me, I want em' to stay
There always there to protect me, this is one thing you can't take away
Listen to the rain fallin' day by day
Listen to the rain fallin' day by day by day
Yeah!
I hear you calling, voices are here again
I hear you whisper in my own mind, will it ever change?
Voices
Voices
Voices
Voices
I hear you calling
Hell_Cat_18 March 15th, 2005, 11:43 AM Whiskey Lullaby is a hard one for me to listen to anymore...
Don't Wanna Miss A Thing...I think that song is made to taunt me... -_-;
Flying_Monkey March 16th, 2005, 01:25 AM hahah
um.......thinking......,wel there is only one song that can almost make me get all teary eyed cause and it is Vermilion pt2 its a sad song and Cory sounds like he is pained by something in that song to, and the other song I've mentioned just make me think of sad stuff but no song has ever brought tears to my eyes.....
So to me Vermilion pt2 is the best sad song to me......
Hell_Cat_18 March 16th, 2005, 10:18 AM "If I Die Tomorrow" by Motely Crew
Chorus:
If I die tomorrow
As the minutes fade away
I can't remember
Have I said all I can say
You're my everything
You make me feel so alive
If I die tomorrow...
Flying_Monkey March 20th, 2005, 04:55 AM Holy crap I was listenin to my Incubus CDs and heard this song and all I have to say is sad *tear*
its called Mexico
You could see me reaching
So why couldn't you have
Met me halfway
You could see me bleeding
But you could not put
Pressure on the wound
You only think about yourself
You only think about yourself
You'd better bend before I go
On the first train to Mexico
You could see me breathing
But you still kept
Your hand over my mouth
You could feel me seething
But you just turned
Your nose up in the air
You only think about yourself
You only think about yourself
You'd better bend before I go
On the first train to Mexico
You only think about yourself
You only think about yourself
You'd better bend before I go
On the first train to Mexico
